Dispute Resolution Consultancy

Norm has spent most of his life in a variety of areas that require the skills of ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution). He has worked in the Union area as well as Management. In addition Norm has been involved in the political arena and in voluntary organisations where a variety of ADR was extensively used.
Norm has a Post Graduate Diploma from Massey University in Dispute Resolution specialising in Mediation.
His preference is to be involved before the dispute or issue gets too difficult and complicated. The sooner a move is made to resolve the matter the sooner it is resolved and with a much lower investment in Money and Time.

Interrelation between the Consultancies

There is a strong interrelationship between the two consultancy areas.
For example; Facilitation is a skill that is of considerable benefit in the two Consultancies in two different ways.
One can facilitate a meeting or a discussion of a number of people (often with different objectives) to achieve an end result that all can accept (generally by consensus).
Alternatively, one can facilitate a meeting to commence resolution of a dispute.
The skill sets that Norm has are of considerable benefit to many areas of the community be they commercial, personal, government, local bodies, community groups, voluntary groups or any other organisation.
